I cannot get any sound out of my toshiba dvd player. The picture works fine but no sound comes out. Most of the time i am pretty giid at stuff like this but i cant figure out whats wrong.
I recently obtained a GE DVD Player, manufactured by Thomson Consumer Electronics. How can I get an instruction booklet? Do I need an RF Modulator? Can I go through a VCR - or do have to connect directly to the TV?
Larry, the GE DVD Player is Model No. GE1106P-B. I got it used from a friend. He did not have any instructions or connecting cables. I do not know anything about hooking it up or how to operate it. Any help you can give me will be appreciated. Don

When you put in a CD does the counter move on the display? Is the unit look like its operating, just no sound?
