i have a problem to do with my 28" my tv screen settings they have shrunk to very slim across middle and the corners have gone in i cannot find the menu of how yo do it on the remote it came up factory V5.00ATPU29 and the settings came up to change it so (by accident) it changed ,and it is only a basic remote a duplicate maybe of the original. pls help my mail adds is [email protected] i just need to reset the screen back to normal THX ANTHONY
my sanyo tv has gone all green with lines throu it. it sometimes goes off its self.the picture comes back for2/4 seconds then goes back to green again can you advise?

Ronangreen, It is going to be a green driver problem or the picture tube is bad. You did not give a model, so im assuming its a picture tube type set? Please supply a model and type.
antstar, so the TV set went to this AFTER you changed some settings or did it happen out of the blue?
larry dillon, no larry i was watching a dvd rental got 3?4 of the way thru it when i noticed this white oblong box with red words in it saying factory saying v5.oooatpu or similar i havent got the exact but it is on my techlore post anyway yes i was watching the film and as i say 3/4 thru it came up with this it was annoying so i tried to rid it i took the tele remote which is very basic and tried to sort it out so i pressed down and the screen started to shrink then tried to push up to make it go bigger (bak 2 normal) it wouldnt so i was stuck i pressed left and the screen came in shrinking from the sides and once again it wouldnt rectify bak 2 normal then corners came up they all satarted at around 88+ and would only lower the size not higher so iam now left with a weird shape picture i cannot retrieve the menu from the remote as it came up by accident i managed to get bak 2 the factory V5.OOOTPU by placing the cd bak in the dvd and then select scene but now it does nothing i think i need a top of range remote to access tele cos this only does bare basics thx 4 youre help larry could you advise me on where to go from here it is something and nothing thankyou Anthony..................
Your going to have to get an original remote from where you bought it or ask them where you can get one, as without it, you cannot get into the service menu. Im not sure why it went into the service menu. If you cannot get it into the service menu again when you have the original remote, you will also need a service manual that will instruct you how and what buttons to push for the width and the vertical Height. You cannot experiemt as you see how bad it can get. I know you did not mean to do this but im saying to you unless you get the proper remote, your going to make it worse. Im not sure if they have a factory reset for the service menu, but you will have to see what the manual says Good Luck
LARRY DILLON, thx m8 it is the original remote although it aint very good it does the basics what is parabola as that came up a few times? and has done over the 2/3 yrs now and again. but it has been the same remote since we bought it although it doesnt say daewoo on it it eas bought brand nes from the shop i know they dont sell em anymore thx larry any tips would be dladly apprieciated cheers pal .............ant
