We're not sure how it happened but we put in a movie for the kids today (The Incredibles) and there was NO red whatsoever! We tried adjusting the colors per the manual but no luck. This just happened today; the tv was fine the last time we watched it. We also tried it with another movie (LoTR RoTK) with the same results. The colors are just really odd and very much "off!"
We're still under warranty, if it turns out something "crashed" in the TV, but if anyone knows of any troubleshooting we can do before we call in the cavalry, we'd appreciate it!

Sharp AQUOS LC-26GA5U suddenly green!
This commonly occurs when a television's input can either be component or RGB, depending on the selection in the TVs menu. I'd guess that the DVD player is connected with a component video cable, but somehow the TV is trying to see it as an RGB signal. Check the TV's input settings for a toggle between Y/Pr/Pb(Y/Cr/CB) and RGB.
Thank you! After I read your post I went back and tried again. It's fixed - thank you so much!
I also wanted to add that what I had to do was set the component input to video. I don't remember what it was set on but as soon as I put it on video, it was immediately fixed!
