SonyTinkerer, All the differant projection sets, makes, and models! There are several differant ways a set will come apart, and theres a right way and a wrong way. I do not have the said manual for you, as you should have it to make sure you take apart the set in the proper order so you wont have to call in a pro to help you put it all back together again.. The service manual is available from http://servicemanuals.net for a download of the complete manual for $23.99. Then you wiill also have it for future use as for focus adjustment or convergence repair and adjustment. its always the right thig to have a service manual on every TV repair. I have a 2001 sony projection/ kp-53v85... If you dont mind taking out about 20 screws you can go in through the back. After you pull the two back panels down the rest is gravy. I did mine today.
