Symphonic 20" Flat Screen TV strange line problem

Hey all.

Last night I was watching television and fell asleep, leaving it on all night. When I woke up, the television was still on, but everything was black except for this thin, 1cm thick, horizontal line in the middle. I still had sound, and when I tried to change channels the colors of the line would change, as if the channel was coming through that thin line.

I've turned the power off and on, unplugged everything from it, flipped through all the channels, but it's the same. Also, whenever I changed the channel I'd see a part of the channel number display on the line, which is weird since normally it's up in the rightside corner, not near the middle.

Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
