RCA Projection TV

I have an RCA Projection TV about 10 yrs old. Does anyone know how to remove the front screen so that I can clean the mirrors inside. The picture is really cloudy.

It really all depends on the

It really all depends on the model.  Some have a speaker grill at the bottom that will pull off and then there are small screws to take out and then you would lift from the bottom and slide off the whole front as you lift.  Some have two screws at the rear towards the top that you unscrew but they dont come out, and then after it feels like they are loose there is a wooden bar at the front top that comes off and then you would lift and slide the lens out that way, There are a few other ways to do them also but the best thing to do if you do not find the ways that I described would be to go to http://www.servicemanuals.net and download the manual so then it would tell you so you would be 100% right and not unscrew something that should not be .  Let us know how you made out and good luck.

There are no screws on the top back. I remember years ago GE had the screws on the top back on the unit we called the Boat Anchor.. It was the first 45 inch they came out with. It had a pedistal on the right side which contained the 13" CRT.

I will get the model number and put it on line. Thanks
