have: Mits WD 62528 w/V28+ chassis
issue: unit will power up for a second then shut down and the BlinkingGreenLightOfDeath appears then disappears. turn power back on and if i'm lucky get a picture. must repeat this process several times before a picture appears
suggestions: ?????
What lights come on? The status, lamp or power and how many times does it flash?
the green timer light next to the power button flashes continuously for a few minutes then stops -no other lights are present. sometimes i have to push the reset button and/or unplug the tv from the recepticle to make it work. this process is repeated two-three times before a blue screen appears as well as a steady green timer light
note: when the green timer light is steady there is a fan noise coming from inside the tv
question: current firmware version is 007.02. should i/would it make a difference if i upgrade to the most current firmware version 7.07 ? if so, please pass along instructions

Just so you know this link is for WS ***** TV's and not WD ***** TV's Are they the same pics. or do you know ? I also have an wd-62825 w/blinking green light. After reading this link It said to look for link on wd tv's instead of ws tv's which make me think the pics. and configuration of the the boards might differ.

This http://www.techlore.com/download/24424/Mitsubishi-WD-52525-v26-v26-v26-c... is the link for the manual for chassis v26,which you have, if you look on page 12 you will notice it says pwr dm board. So yes it has the same problems as a lot of them do. There should be something like 7 caps on that board that need replaced.
