Mitsubishi WS656-11 repair instructions.

I made a silly mistake and purchased the repair kit for the Mit. WS655-11 from www.tvrepairkits.com, when I have a WS656-11 TV. Would anyone out there have a copy of the repair instructions for the 656-11 tv that they could email to me. I'm assuming that the capcitors and fuses are the same for each kit. Just the quantity and locations are different.

[email protected]

 Thanks

 Joe

I have the instructions for the WS65511 but did not know they were the same as the WS65611. Now that I know they are the same, I'll go to work on it.
Thanks

Here is a pic of my board. I have the dreaded blinking green light issue but yet when I test the capacitors with an ohms test while they are on the board, they al read good. They also don't look cooked. Any suggestions as to where to go from here?

Forgot to mention that I did

Forgot to mention that I did an ohms test on the fuses and they read good also.

Thought I would mention:
This TV worked fine until I moved it from my mom's house to my house. Was as careful as possible moving it but, I know vibration and bouncing in a truck can cause problems. Is there anyplace on the TV that I can look for a possible issue other than the board pictured above that appears to be ok?

Even though they test good

Even though they test good with an ohms meter replace them anyway because they can only be properly tested with an ESR meter. I have personally seen over 100 of those repairs where the caps look perfectly fine but tested High ESR and replacing them solved the issue.

Replaced them and the TV

Replaced them and the TV works like a champ.
Thank you for your time and patience.
Your efforts are very much appreciated.

I kinda felt the capacitors

I kinda felt the capacitors were bad because its hard to spot them without any ESR meter congratulations on a job well done.

I didn't know anything about repairing TV's either until, on this web site I found a link to www.tvrepairkits.com, You can buy the repair kit for about $35 dollars to fix your TV from these guys. You will get all the instructions to fix it and the parts. Very simple to follow if read carefully. I fixed my Mit. 65611 today in about 3 hrs. Mine had the same problem as yours.

Copy the above link and paste it into your address bar on your web browser. Hit enter and you will find what you need.
The guys here at techlore are also a great help. Very knowledgeable and patient.
If you have any problems they will be able to sort it out for you.
Good Luck

The board in the pic above my user name is what you are looking for. It's about 5 inches square. When you take the cover off the back of your TV, the board will be inside a silver colored box on the left.
My best advise for you is: Take your time. Go slow, one step at a time. After you do this once, you will probably think it was too easy. LoL
Again Good Luck

Help! I have a WS65611 with

Help! I have a WS65611 with the green blinking light. I have checked for an error code and it reads 12, which should be ok. I have checked the power comming out of the DM power supply and get 12V on pin 10, 28V on pin 11, which should be ok. What happens when I turn it on is, the green light goes solid, at the same time K9A50 clicks, then in about 3 or 4 secs K9A50 clicks again and the green led on front starts blinking very fast for about 12 secs and the process starts over again. I have checked all the fuses on the power board and main board and DM boards and found them all to be ok. This TV died about 6 yrs ago and i just replaced it without trying to repair, it seemed to be a good excuse to get a plasma at the time. But i would now like to fix it and put it in our bonus room. If you can help me that would be great. Thanks!

Have the 65611 blinking light

Have the 65611 blinking light. I have successfully replaced capacitors 3 other times but does not fix it this time. What are chances of new capacitor being bad? Will one bad cap keep it from working? I have not replaced or tested fuse this time. I resoldered new caps in a second time thinking a bad connection. Any ideas?
