I have an older 35" Mitsubishi and just on certain programs (and football games) is where it mainly happens. I've tried the Menu but haven't been able to bring up that option. It's very frustrating.
How do I get to the Audio section on my Menu?
It opens to First Time Set-up or Advanced Features.
Next Option is Set Clock, and Add/Delete channels,
then Video Mute- on/off.
I can't get to the Sound Mode.
Any suggestions?
If you bought the set new in Feb., I would call in a servicer as it should still have a warranty. If it wasent new when you purchaced it, then it sounds like a problem in the power supply, or a short in the set is loading down the power supply and making the power supply cycle on and off to clear the short. Its not an easy set to get parts for or any service info on. If your not a tech, Olease call in a local TV repir persomn to assist you in this repair as its a solid state set and there are no user replaceable parts inside this set. Let us know please how you made out. Good Luck
Are you sure of this part number my friend, as the JVC part web site does not see this as a valid part number? Where did you get this number from? Here is the JVC parts web site: http://www.jvcservice.com/service/JPartInq.asp Good Luck
What type of set do you have and what country are you in?

I'm in the U.S.A. Thanks for any help.
Your problem is in the audio section of the menu. The problem is the SAP is on. Simply go to the sound mode and turn off the SAP.
