Mitsubishi WS-48613 Blinking Green Light After DM Caps Replaced

Hey guys, as the title suggests, i've got a Mitsubishi WS-48613 with the blinking green light but no startup issue that seems to be common with the model. The fixes i've seen have been to check the 4 capacitors on the DM board (1000uF, 16v) for doming and replace them if they seem to be blown.

I took out the DM module (which was no treat), and the caps weren't domed up, but one or two tested bad for continuity, and it's a five buck fix for a huge HDTV, so i figured i'd start there.

Having replaced the capacitors with higher voltage ones (25v, as i've seen suggested), i re-seated the board, re-connected the two cables at the top, and decided to plug it in and check it. No dice, i've still got a blinking green light. Is there anyone here who can help me out with this?

This happened to me as well.

This happened to me as well. The DM board needs to be reseated correctly on the signal board. You might need to remove its shield first, plug it into the signal board, test it, then reattach the shield afterward.

How completely do i need to reassemble it before i know whether i've got a fix or not? I re-seated the DM board and the housing shield, but i haven't screwed it down. Is it not going to ground properly until i do? Also, the copper grounding flags all around it are a little disturbed, do they need to be totally flat against the shield?

The only precaution would be

The only precaution would be to use cardboard or some insulating material to prevent metal from touching the exposed DM module circuitry. Then plug it in and test.

Then i'm not sure where that

Then i'm not sure where that leaves me. The DM module is re-seated with the housing over it and plugged back in, and all i get is the blinking green light.

Then you need to make sure

Then you need to make sure the capacitors are installed correctly. Polarity matters here. I use 1000uf/16V caps because of size limitations. I once used larger value 2200uf caps, which generated a callback one week later.

Caps are all in the proper

Caps are all in the proper orientation, i made sure to mind the polarity. If it's not the capacitors, what else could it be?

Could be the caps on the FMT

Could be the caps on the FMT power board.C9A37, C9A38, C9A51, C9A52, C9A61 , C9A62 on the power pwb.C8F19, C8F21, C8F22 and C8F27 on the fmt pwb.
