Hitachi 57f500a convergence issue

Ive been pouring through a lot of these threads tryin to glean some info I can apply to my problem.  Its been very informative.  Reading about some of these Sony big screens, learning about blink codes, and knowing about what pico fuses to look for- very inerestin.  Ive got convergence issues and have already tried a coupla chips but they blew cause I didnt check for some blown resistors first.  The set originally used the stk 150s but Im tradin up to the 394 160s.  Is anybody familiar with this model or chassis (DP23) who can tell me about any pico fuses or such I should look out for?  I wanna be fully prepared cause I dont wanna blow any more chips.  Ive got the service manual and all the indications are that I should check the resistors; I cant really spot any pico fuses on the convergence board or in the listing of ics and components.  Mostly what I find are resistors, caps or diodes.  Any information anyone can give me is much appreciated.

Have you tried adjusting the

Have you tried adjusting the manual convergence yet? Which color is out of convergence and is it the vertical or horizontal that won't adjust? Check all of these resistors RK42 3.3 RK46 1.8 RK 50 2.7 RK54 1.5 RK58 3.9 ohms RK62 2.2 Then check the appropriate resistors on the convergence board. These are metal oxide 1 watt resistors. Then run the Magic Focus. It's difficult to find the correct service manual for this model. Good luck!

Thanks, yeah Ive replaced a

Thanks, yeah Ive replaced a coupla the resistors- i was just wondering about anything like pico fuses or even diodes that I would need to look out for, in case anyone had experience w/ this particular board. The large fuses are intact and the tv turns on, it's just waaay out of whack and magic focus doesnt work for nuthin. Also, in manual focus I cant move anything but the red lines, and the green grid that you adjust the others against is bowed and cant be moved. Im sure the ics are blown, and incidentally the resistors on the dp23 chassis are different values. At least, according to the service manual. Also, on the off chance somebody knows, if I use the stk 394 160s instead of the 392 150s, can anyone tell me what resistor values i need, cause I know they're different than what can be use with the 150s. Thanks again for all suggestions.
