Hello -
I read a lot on this board about fixing the convergence issue on sony dlp.
1. I bought the kit at tvrepairkits.com, using techlore as referral.
2. I replaced the 2 IC as instructed.
3. I just put if back, tried focus flash, and also manually adjust the convergence.
4. A few of the "+" on the right are fine, but the left "+", green and pink will not line up. (blue and red lined up = pink).
5. what should i do next?
any help be appreciated.
Check your solder connections for bridged pins and clean with acetone,or nail polish remover.
thanks evil, solder connection looks fine. i can try to clean with acetone.
1. should i also check the fuse and resistor?
2. should i adjust the slider on the green lamp?

Ill look for the Service Manual tonight is that chassis ax-1?Check all ressistors related to or near the convergence amps there may also be some pico fuses.
