Hi.. Proscan PS52662 Projection TV 1995. When I try to start The initial press lights, then blinks 2 times after. Is this code 2 or 3 blinks and does anyone know the codes and potential problems that would cause this????

That means a few things. The most important is the two blinks in the beginning. It is an indication that the sweep power supply OR the horizontal output circuit is not starting up and sending an on signal back to the main power supply. Unfortanatly, these are solid state sets and there are no user replacable parts inside. if you have no TV repair experience , you should take to a repair shop for an estimate. But , the fact that this set is 11 years old, you may not want to drop any money into this set as it has just about ran for its normal life expectancy. I myself would trash it and purchace another one. The problems that usually cause these symtoms are a shorted horizontal output transistor along with the High Voltage transformer, along with a couple of smaller parts. A repair such as this will run you around 200 bucks or so. Good Luck and please get back with us and let us know how you made out.
