panasonic pl43 the white is yellow looks like the screen yellow started on the bottom of screen and is working its way up the screen most of the screen is yellow.
If this is a television in the usa pl43 is not a good model, if you have white turning yellow, you either have some kind of white balance issue, or somthing is wrong with the red, your picture may tint yellow, greenish color. I don't know what kind of tv we are talking about (plasma, lcd, lcd projection, tube, older projection tv) a good model will help.
am trying to understand what you are telling me, but i am still not absolutely sure,
Probing Questions;
did this only happen after you changed the bulb?please clarify about the yellow tint creeping up the screen?
is the whole screen yellow now ?
Can you see the color blue, red , on scenes that have them as deep colors ? - in other words is a red item on the screen or a blue item on the screen coming up black?
Ok, I would have to look at the tv, i am not getting enough information to make a good judgment. but without looking at it with the information i have at this point i would suspect the light engine, or the lcd drive circuits. but i cannot say for sure what is happening. It could be a gamma correction circuit/white balance circuit as well. Maybe some other tech here has seen this before and will have a better opinion than i can render.
I have a LG DLP Projection TV, model 52SX4D-ub. I just replaced the lamp & ballast but TV still does not turn on. The front indicator lights scroll with white lights for few moments, then top 2 turn red, with the lamp indicator light blinking. After minute, the process repeats by scrolling white again.
Need a model, brand and a better discription of your problem.
