hey looking for larry dillon if u are out there. You helped me a couple years ago with this tv. the convergence ic,s went again. I replaced them put the d board back in place now no picture on tv it is blank. read other forums about blinking red light. if I counted right it blinked 5 times. what did happen when I took the thick red wire out of part #hvb-1031 wich looks like half a distributor for a car it has 5 ports 4 of wich are used the end piece little metal piece came off recrimped on and snapped wire back in tv was working power wise fine before i took this d board out. noticed on d board location nl 8001 which looks like a little light bulb looks black and burnt out is this a fuse?? dont understand what happened here last time i did this job was no problem....can u help???

get the part # of what your talking about from the board and find that # in the parts list in the schematic in the service manual and it will tell you what it is.
I am trying to repair a Sony KP-51WS510. I believe it is a convergence problem. Could a fuse be blown?? How hard is the board to remove? Does anyone have a service manual they could email me? please help! [email protected]

I have a Sony KP-51ws510 with convergence problems. It was in a fire, got smoke damage, and probaly got pretty hot. I replaced the stk's and all the blown pico's. When I turned it on I had the same convergence ploblem. I checked all the Pico fuses and the top pico on the g board was blown I replaced it and it blew again. do I have a bad stk or could something else blow that pico fuse?
