mitsubishi wd-62725 BGLOD

Hi all,

I found this very helpful forum while trying to fix my mitsubishi wd-62725 BGLOD. I read in one post that I should state my model number and maybe I could get a little more help.  I have the constant blinking green light problem with no power up.  So far I have changed the 4 16v capacitors on the PWB-DM board to the 35v and there were 4 capacitors on the PWB-FMT of the same value that I change due to 2 of them looking buldged. Still have the blinking light.  I also tested everywhere I could on the Power PWD with the TV unable to turn on and all seemed fine there. I've had it apart 4 times now checking for loose conections and my solder job, again all looks ok. Could someone tell me what my next step should be? I've kinda hit a brick wall, although I'm real good at takeing it apart now :0

 Thank you for any help.

Hi Evil,

Hi Evil,

Not sure wich board would be the fmy board. My service manual calls them PWD-Signal, PWB-terminal, PWB-DM, PWD-FMT and PWD-Power. After reading your last reply I went and again checked all the capacitors visually for bulges or leaks and they look fine to me. Thank you very much for trying to help me. I really apreciate your help. I'm gonna give this a couple more days then I guess I'm gonna have to buy a board... It's killing me. I think I may go put it all back together tonight just incase something miraculous may have happened, I did work at a convent yesterday and took good care of their electrical work.... maybee god will smile on my tv this time :0

http://www.techlore.com/forum/thread/19524/Mitsubishi-WD-62725-Status-Li... on page 4 at the bottom larry referred to a FMY board but i think it was a typo, maybe he meant FMT board thought i would check anyway.from the sound of it,even if the CAPS look good they may not be,one guy on that forum said he done the same thing as you and replaced the ones that were menthioned and it didnt work and when he went back and checked the pwd board he ended up replacing almost all of them on that board. You may end up doing the same?

Can anyone tell me what

Can anyone tell me what components are the C9A00, 01, 05, 06, 08, 09, 10 and C9A11? Mitsubishi tells me that these are:
189P 185090 c-cer - av250v - E2200P-M

Nobody seems to reference these at all. I have the WD62725 and these are on the Power Board, HOT section lower left area, look like wax teeth about 1/2 inch tallx3/8 inch widex1/4 inch thick. Some of them look discolored and I'd like to replace them, but cannot figure out what they are.

I haven't been on this board

I haven't been on this board in years but when you posted in my old thread it alerted me by email. I don't know what the parts are but I have 2 working power boards in my basement. I've been saving them for Ebay, but if you want one of them I'll sell it for $50.
