so i changed out my convergence chips on my tv, but i must of done something wrong because the tv will only turn on till the picture comes up and then shuts right off. any ideas?
must have messed the chips up already from bridging gaps on the solder joints,try looking at the service manual and finding the voltage for the IC's and check that
If yours is anything like my 53 Inch PT-53WX42 version some of the circuit board has the voltage printed near some components for what the voltage should be there.
Try rechecking your solder joint on the convergence chips make sure none are touching.
