RCA HD52W59 sparks when plugged in

Hello all. The title says it all.  I plugged in the TV and heard a hissing sound, thought that was weird so I took the back panel off and did it again and this time heard the hissing and saw the sparks/glowing. I took a video of it and will try to post it.  It is about 20 seconds long. I am guessing that I will need a new board as it probably has burned the board under the component. One end of the component is very loose and can wiggle while the other side is not movable or what I would think is normal.

The component where the sparking is coming over in the picture where my finger is pointing at.

Not sure if this is the board name/number but possibly 3305M

The part is located around 6K-6L on the board and looks like it is labeled on the board CL031.

Does anyone have the schematics for this TV? The manual I found online did not include them and I searched here but didn't find it. Probably just didn't search correctly on my part but I did try to find it.

I didn't really ask it but I

I didn't really ask it but I was looking for opinions based on experience on whether I need to likely get a new board. I am thinking it is burned beyond my repair skill level.

The other thing I need is either the schematics so I can look things up or someone familiar with this model of TV to tell me what the name of the board is. It is the board on the left if you are facing the rear of the TV.

I am not having any luck finding the schematics or reading anything on the board that resembles the board identification. There is a barcode on it with a letter and I thought that may be it but another board has a barcode with the same letter so I ruled that out.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help me out with this info.

Was that a zhu zhu pet in the back ground on the video?if you have a loose component start with resoldering it....

ohh and jamming your fingers

ohh and jamming your fingers into components you have no idea what are could be very dangerous. That thing you had your hand near is called a flyback transformer, very dangerous, even unplugged.Judging by the sparks i would say that the flyback has something to do with it.

I am not sure what a zhu zhu

I am not sure what a zhu zhu pet is but that little toy in the background is one of my dogs toys...lol

Thank you for the heads up on possible shock dangers. I was trying to be careful not to touch anything other than the gray rectangle component.

Saturday is when I am going to get the board out of there to have a close look at the underside. It just seems to me there is a ton of sparking/arcing going on and there is probably more damage. With any luck it will just be cleanup and new solder, but I have a feeling I will end up needing more, like the whole board.

What I really need is the wiring schematics. I have found them for sale and may have to spend the money to get them. Hopefully, somebody who has them reads this and is willing to share.

Thanks

if you cant find a service

if you cant find a service manual for that model try looking for one for that chassis # it should be close to the model number on the sticker, rca manuals are hard to come by.try here when you get your chassis #

Here is what the back of the board looks like.

The hole is about the size of a straw and the burning is about the size of a strange shaped dime.

Sorry about that. I tried to turn my flash off but there was not an option in the menu and the only button I saw on my camera was for the timer delay. I will try again or maybe use my cell phone. Although it takes crummy pictures so if they end up blurry I just won't post them. I sincerely tried to post the pics that were easiest on the eyes.
Hopefully my next attempt will be better.

update on this:

I found a replacement capacitor and cleaned the board up and soldered the new one in and the TV has been working fine every since! Thanks for the help. I ordered a couple of the caps in case I messed anything up and at .69 each it was not out of my budget....lol
