A while back this site helped me fix the dreaded blinking green lights. Thanks again.
New problem is the display looks out of sync. Six vertical slots instead of one. That is using the DTV antenna input. Also it appears that all other inputs on the back are not working or displaying anything at all. It started doing this occasionly at first. A quick power down and up would fix it. Finally does this all the time. I could try some "service mode" adjustments but I am a little gunshy about making more trouble. I don't think it is a ajustment problem anyway. Also using the "on screen menus" work on all inputs except for ANT DTV. The menus are not readable due to the scrambled screen on ANT DTV setting.
Hopefully this is another common problem like the green lights and is a easy diagnose if not any tips to steer me in the right direction will be of help.
Thanks
Paul
A common failure with this Mitsubishi chassis is the 9V regulator, IC9C25, located behind the tuner. This is a job for an experienced technician because it is difficult to access and replace.
Thanks for the reply. After I posted this problem I went back to look at old posts and the 9v reg IC fixed some others with identical symptoms. What and where would be a good place to test the 9v to verify the problem. I should be able to replace the IC. I am an old communications tech.
OK, I got all the info I need for now from the other posts.Part is ordered and I will respond with results when done.

There are four cultural dimensions that were defined in Hofstede's research: Power distance, Uncertainty avoidance,ed hardy clothing
ed hardy shoes
Individualism, Masculinity, and recently Hofstede add one more: long-term-short-term orientation.
OK, I changed the 9v regulator and fixed the problem. Removing the terminal board to gain access to the "IC9c25" was what took the most time. Nothing in service manual shows removal of terminal board by itself. Easy to damage other components if not carefull. Not a job for someone without some basic experience. Cost 1.75
for the IC plus about 5.00 shipping. Saved a bunch by fixing myself. Since this is the second most common problem sofar with the Mitsubishi V23 chassi someone more knowlegeable should work up some instructions.
