I have a Samsung LNS2641D that has no picture but the audio works fine. When turned on the backlight turns on and stays on as it should but nothing shows up on the screen. The screens backlight blinks as if it's changing channels when the channel buttons or source buttons are pushed. What part could be bad? The mainboard or the lcd controller? I have disassembled it and examined both boards and there isn't any physical damage to either board. BTW, I have no idea what if anything happened before it started to malfunction as it was given to me. Thanks!
Hi There""
Ihave the same problem did you find what part is the problem.
Thanks
John
It turned out to be the T-con board. Works great now.
Thanks man for the input was it costly to replace and where did you fine the part?Did you did replace it by yourself?
Thanks Brother''
John
I bought it on Ebay from a seller in the UK. It costed me around $90. This is a hard part to find so give it time. It took me a few months of daily searching to find it. The reason for this being hard to find is that it isn't an individual item. It comes as part of the screen itself even though it is easily removed and replaced with no soldering involved. I did the replacement myself. It wasn't a challenge at at all to me as I disassemble and reassemble various electronics regularly.
Hi there thanks a milliom for all the info.
