Hello,
I have had the JVC HD-61Z886 for a few months. At first the picture was just fine. I have basic cable for now. However, now there is a weird red background or hue that makes the pictures seem washed out because of the overabundance of redness. If the TV has been off for several hours and then turned on, the picture is fine with a regular blue background. However, after only about 30 minutes, the red screen/background comes back. The red screen is even apparent when watching DVD's. I can see all of the channels on the TV however the quality is just not as clear as it could be because of the red hues. I have tried adjusting the picture options via the menu, but nothing is working.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Red Screen ON JVC HD-ILA
I have a JVC HD42' Plazma. 15 mo old and it started to get a 2" vertical bar of rainbow colors. Intermitten no doupt. I have a hunch its a heating problem but dont kno'w. I'd say you have a heating problem also.
They want to take mine back to the shop and play it till it's a hard fail, I'm not real happy bout that, think I'll just watch mine till it's a hard fail.
Any help would be nice. Thanks.
My 27" JVC is a 2002 and the picture has been getting darker over the last few months. Occasionally the picture would go all red with horizontal lines. It would clear up once the TV was turned off and back on. However this doesn't work anymore. Can anyone help?
