I can do anything with my RCA remote to my RCA 36" tv except change the channel. When you hit the up or down arrow it blacks the screen just for a second just like it always does when it changes channels but it doesn't change the channel. It goes right back to the same channel. I can change the channel by using the number pad but not the arrows. What in the blanky blanky is going on here?
Oh easy problem My friend. Your TV has lost the channel programming. simply go in to the menu, and find channel search and press go or find and let it do its job. Now if your on cable or sat., the TV wont find any external channels unless you have an external antenna attached. good luck and please let us know how you made out.
