Does the unit work ok on regular TV broadcast? If not then try to see where the adjustment controls such as Brightness,contrast,color, and tint are set at. Try unplugging the unit for a few hours to see if it resets. Look in the menu control if theres a video switching mode and make sure its on DVD.
