signal processing board for Mitsubishi big screen

Mitsubishi discontinued the model ws 55807 big screen tv, and I need the signal processing board part # 630B 86 801. There is sound but no picture and that board looks discolored around some components (burnt?). I have worked as an electronics technicain for several years and know how to troubleshoot and replace the parts. Can someone tell me where I can buy the parts for this model tv? Thanks.

I looked for that board all

I looked for that board all around a few sources, That board very rarly gets replaced as its ment to be fixed down to componet level.. Are you sure that your signal board is the one that has a fault??  Do you have HI Voltage? Have you looked at the capacitors in the Sweep power supply  ? , as that causes your problem most of the time with your complaint.  Also check the Screen focus block. Your gonna need to get a service manual to properly trouble shoot this set. You can find a downloadable one here  http://www.thecdguyz.com/manuals/mits... for $10.00 bucks   Good luck

Thanks techman. I can fixed

Thanks techman. I can fixed the board at the component level. I will take your advise and look at the other circuits, especially since I was concerned about what in the first place caused the components on the signal  board to burn.  It first failed  after a power outage during a lightening strom,  and since died slowly over a period of time. Thanks again.

First off, PLEASE Stop

First off, PLEASE Stop stouting you big dummy!!! Don't you know all caps is considered shouting these days?! Man, where is your manners? What is the problem? The signal processing board on these sets as well as most of the major boards should be able to be repaired by a tech of good standings. If the tech tells you the board cannot be repaired. Find out why it cannot be repaired. Maybe the tech does not know how to repair electronics down to the component level. Go to ptscorp.com, get their telephone number, call them, see how much they will charge for an overhaul of this board you say is not repairable. Good Luck
