I have a Samsung HPS4253xx/xaa plasma, and an Everfocus EDVR16 16 ch cctv dvr. When I connect the vga output from the dvr to the tv it is off to the right by about 50%. I only see half the screen from the DVR. I tried the normal PC input settings and the horizontal shift option doesnt even begin to bring it over enough.
Here's what I've tried:
3 different VGA cables--No change.
I connected my laptop to the TV thru the same input, and it looks fine.
I've looked in the service menu to try and find an adjustment, I cant seem to find one.
I've called Everfocus support and they say that they're is no other adjustments on the DVR side besides the image shift, but it only shifts the image inside of what the TV is displaying.
The unit has an S-Video output, but the VGA quality is coming thru much better, I'd like to use it.
Please if anyone has any other ideas it would be awesome.
