I started with the blinking light problem after finding this site and reading I found out about the capacitors on the DM board so I replaced them the Tv came on and blinking light was gone, I Thank You for that!
But the convergence was off so I ordered the convergence kit and replaced the convergence chips and the 2 pico fuses.
When I turn the power on I can hear that noise a tv makes(I do not know how to explain it except it sounds as something is powering up) but the power button doesn't work and no greenlight whatsoever.
I have double checked the wires and solder joints look great.
I checked for power @ the pico fuses and unless they carry the neutral(white) side I have nothing. If I check from 120v (Black) side of the main power plug to pico fuses I have 120volts(back feeding from neutral).
I am thinking I am losing my hot side (120v) before it gets to the pico fuses and I have power on the jumper from the main power board.
Any ideas? What's before the pico fuses?
Ok I was told to pull the IC chips out plug the board back in and see if tv will come on. So I did that rechecked the pico fuses they were good. Plugged the set back in still nothing. I am at a loss here any help would be greatly appreciated!
