I have a RCA ColorTRACK Plus TV - Model No. 727671SE or 127671SE - the first number is barely visible. I have an RCA remote, but it is not the original remote. When accessing the menu, I can only access certain options. I am unable to access the SETUP menu in order to put in the correct codes to be able to view movies on my DVD/VCR (combination set).
I cannot tell what channel I am on because the TV cuts off parts of the right and left side of the screen. On the Menu - the VCR channel is 03. There is some curved distortion on those sides. The RCA remote I have doesn't have an "input" button. The GE Universal remote does. When I press it the picture displays un___? signal and the word "video" appears. The picture has lines going through it - no sound.
When I run automatic programming, first it shows 96 labels stored and then it goes back to 3 channels stored, A and 0 showing up on the screen when accessing different channels.
The back of the TV has on the OUT- S Video both red and white; "IN" area states at far top hand corner - Video Input (red); Red and white "IN" and L/Mono (white).
Help!
Thanks.

;I have a 27 inch RCA tv (ColorTrak Plus, Model# ;F27674BC). I have connected a dvd player to the ;tv. I have selected Channel 92 and enabled VCR1 ;on channel 92.
;The remote is in bad shape. How can I scan to a ;proper "Input" without ;remote and watch DVDs?
I have an RCA ColorTrak Colortrack Plus, model F27631SF, and have been very happy with it. Channel 125 had been selected and set for VCR1. I could not change VCR1 from channel 125 with the buttons on the TV or my non-original remotes. I never have had the original remote. After hours of trying, I found accidently that if I select channel 00 with a remote by pressing zero two times, the DVD player will play through the TV beautifully!
Tommy,
I too have the same problem and after hours of trying two separate remotes and many trys on the codes, I almost gave up and then stumbled into your post here. I tried and it worked. Thanks. You should post it on youtube for ease of search.
