I have a Philips 27 inch tv that has no picture or sound. When I plug it in, I hear a rapid beeping sound. It seems to be coming from the largest part on the circuit board, a yellow cylinder with copper tape around it. The sound slows down and stops when I unplug the tv. The serial number is 27PT543S37A. Can I fix this?
I HAVE THE SAME TV AND MINE IS ALSO MAKEING THAT SOUND AND I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO FIXIT IF IT CAN BE FIXED...
mine is Philips 50PFP5332D, more than one year old, the tv was ok the night before but when turned on the next day, the blue light at the bottom right went on but the screen is blank and there is a clicking sound (like a clock)that you can hear at the back. It can be turned on from the side or remote control but it won't turn off unless I unplug it.
HELP!!!
