I pulled out the MD unit and all 7 capacitors looked fine and the tiny surface mounted fuses also checked OK. Any ideas as to what else might be causing the problem. My e-mail for a dircet conversation is [email protected].

I just went through this myself. My capacitors also looked fine. However, removing them from the board to test revealed that all of them were defective. Two of them measured 1uF (should be 1000uF). If you have not fixed this TV yet, just purchase 7 new capacitors and replace them all.
That fixed mine, but I am still concerned about the capacitors that are connected to the 5V and 3.3V being provided by the DM Power board. The bad news is that my service manual does not include a schematic for the DM board, so I don't know which ones to replace.
does anybody have information on how to fix this problem?
Please send me your e-mail address and I will forward manuals and repair procedure
I would like those instructions also, please. MD # WD52725, blinking green light. Please send to [email protected]
