I have a 19" WestingHouse LCD that when I turn on comes up with a solid blue screen. The sound comes through fine, I have tried other inputs with the same result, sound but no picture. The menus are all visible just no video from the source.
Can anyone provide suggestions as to what could be causing this?
Thanks
same problem here but screens are pink. Seems to be only thru the component connections if i hook directly coax to tv picture is fine
JoJo,
What is the source device and how do you have it connected (or what ways have you tried). Be specific.
I tried connecting from the cable box using the video connection, yellow, red and white. Then tried staight from the wall with coax. Both gave me sound, but no picture, just blue screen.
Will check this evening what other connection types there are on the tv and try those as well. My assumption was if 2 were giving the same result, probably going to get the same thing from the other inputs as well.
Is there a card that could be responsible solely for displaying the picture? I had a similar problem with my laptop, image was blacked out on half the display though and made it fairly easy to figure out it was the power inverter. The fact that I have a perfect blue screen and menus come up fine is what is killing me.
Thanks for the response. I look forward to hearing any suggestions you have.
Cheers
Jason
Curious... does the component video input work?
