I have a Sony Trinitron Digital TV Model No. KD28DL10U - i have managed to auto tune the normal tv channels, however when I switch over to digital channels and press menu the option to auto tune is not available. I no longer have the instruction manual, so a bit lost. Many thanks.
After going over to Digital, dont press the Menu button. What you need to select is the tuning input button the left lowest button of the upper bunch of buttons on the remote, when you should be presented with the Auto Tuning option. Additionally try opening the front flap on the TV and pressing the togle switch second in from the left. The first togle awitch will take you into analogue tuning, the second togle switch will provide you with the digital tuning/set up option after adjusting any screen slant if you need to. Just follow the menu.
