I have distorted colors and picture has double images.The tv repair guy replaced new ic parts and tried to adjust convergence manually but the green color is stubborn.He couldn't move the green color to align with blue and red.He now says that the digital convergence box needs to be replaced.Am so confused.I need your professional expertese views if he is doing right or just wasting my money figuring out what the problem is.I read the articles in this forum about pico fuse.Is this the problem thats why he couldn't align the green color?...pls do give me some feed back.I don't want to waste my money.In the wide screen mode I can see little better picture but normal, full screen and zoom modes are worse. plsss help me.
Check the six pico fuses that are directly under the fins of the ICs and see if they are blown as they usually will when the ICs failthey are yellow look like resistors without the stripes. Also check the two IC links on the G board which are PS001 and PS002 they are tan with a stripe both 5amp
