I have a Philips 32PT6441/37 and the vertical is slightly too long . Needs to be adjusted about a half an inch. Does anyone know the procedure ? I do have the remote for the set . Thanks James
jsf2323:...Try this:...Turn the TV on....Press in sequence 062596 , then press "Menu"....Tell me what you see in detail in your next post....
Then turn the set OFF with the front panel button... .Do Not tamper with ANY onscreen graphics...You could PERMANTLY screw the TV up...
Hey Ron , The customer has already picked that set up . They could not wait anymore . Thanks for the feed back though i will reference it if it comes back in . On the Mitsubishi set i'm to swamped with other sets coming in for repair but i will email you when i get a chance . Talk to you later , James
Didn't lose the repair or the customer as that was not their original problem . There problem was the set did not turn on and needed the kit repair for horizontal OSC. section . Customer did not mind when she picked it up and set had been that way since she owned it . She just wanted the TV back after she had been watching her 20" TV . $92.00 bucks richer !!! Talk to ya
jsf2323: SORRY, MY BAD...I ASSumed wrong...I'm glad you got the repair & kept the customer...Customers are VITAL these days...Looks like it will be a year or two before you use my info on that set....Maybe another set sooner....
Best regards ....Til next time......
