Not sure If I am in the right topic area, if not just tell me.
I have a kp51ws510 (Sony). The red was way off with no response from convergence tool in menu. So I ordered new ic's and while waiting for them, (with help from mr Dillon) I started checking which pico's I have to replace. And none are bad, both on the power supply bd G, and the D bd. So from what I've gathered, unless the ic opened up instead of shorting out, there is something else wrong. What I need to know what i can check next, any direction would be awesome, I used to be a an electronics technician in the military, so I can walk through what I have to. I just need a push in the right direction. Thanks a heap.

when good pico's don't go bad
did you check all of the resistors and did you replace the stks yet??
i have repaired 5 of these sonys...usually repalcing the sks fixes the problem......
Ok, I plugged the power supply bd in (out of the set, just sitting on test bench) and I do not have the +-22v on the bd.
By the way I haven't received the ic's yet, I also took the G bd out and as a stand alone, plugged it into 120. I get no +-22v. And yes the two pico fuses are not blown.
I didn't check all the resistors because I would have to unload each one to get an accurate reading. Didn't know if anyone has a good place to start. Maybe some common ones that blow. I haven't received the ic's yet, but I don't have the +-22 when I bench test the pwr supply G bd.
