Sorry i don;t work on epson,

Sorry i don;t work on epson, but if it is a minor red tint it could be a white balance problem. also if you are using a computer to connect to it, It may be a gamma correction issue. the bulb could also be shifting in the color spectrum a little bit.

Maby someone who works on epson will have a better answer but i have never worked on an epson projector.

Please post the model number.

Please post the model number.  Also, please post the unit hours and the lamp hours.  This can be as simple as a bad connection on the input board or a problem with the LCD section.  Since all models are somewhat unique, without the model number there is little I can suggest at this time.

i have seen the temp sensors

i have seen the temp sensors causing this kind of problem, on the one i had which was not your model, i just removed the temp sensors and the unit would stay on, as a diganostic step, the one i had, used diodes as a temp sensor. bent over the top of the lcd display.
