Today I decided to open up my new T.V. and the damn thing won't stay on. It keeps shutting off. I adjusted the sleep timer and the off timer, but it stiil shuts off and looses all power because the stand-by button turns off. Someone help me!!!!!

I have an RCA 27 inch Tru Flat tv. The model number is 27F520T. It's only 6 months old. About 3 months ago, it started coming on in the middle of the night. But it only happened about twice. Then a month later, it started going on and off by itself. It did that one time within a month and stopped. Now recently, it started again, but now when you put it on, it goes off. Sometimes it stays on for a few minutes and then goes off again. Now the remote won't work and everytime you touch the buttons on the tv, it just goes off and then on again, and continues to do it by itself. I got sick of it and just unplugged it. Can anyone please help with advice on how to solve this problem? Cuz I am about to take it back to Walmart.
2 tvs that wont stay on! My tv started shutting itself off as soon as i turned it on. Bought a NEW one & this worked for 1 day, then i used the sleep timer & the next day it started doing the same thing!I turn it on 3 seconds later it shuts off. Cannot access any menu options etc. Manual says the sleep timer is cancelled when the set is shut off or unplugged. ANY HELP?? appreciated!
I have a 27' flat screen that will shut off and on for about 10 min. then go to a blue screen or just shut off. Its a true flat about 2 years old not a TV that can be hung on the wall. any way I can get a part for it ? I saw people in the past with the same problem. Thanks a lot RCA, haha.
lion B who has the same problem as I did purchased at wal mart. SO DID I. Same TV. I wonder if that was in San Diego too.
This ALMART stuff is kind buy, and through away, you could try resolder every thing in the power supp,and help for the better,
