My big screen TV has problems. I turned it on and there is a double image. The 1st image is black and the double image is red. There are no other colors.

Yes, I got mine fixed--it cost a little over $300.
It was two parts to do with the convergence that had gone out due to a DC spike which was sent through the Cable TV company when they sent out a re-set signal (I cancelled my cable because they wouldn't fix it)

i have similar to the same problem but with different tv, and my colors are pink and green, have you found anything out?
