I have had it for 5 years now and first problem i have had. is this a convergence board problem? picture sometimes go back to full screen then shrinks and goes back and forth doing that. any help would be great.

This is very common problem with this model. The screen will shrink and expand or it will just loose audio/video but the power light will remain on.
