Sony STR. D590

HEY, any help useful I hooked up my Sony to "5" speakers, it was almost new hardly used. It flashed and then then the stereo bar went out.  It has power but nothing in stereo mode,cd. ect. I opened it up and replaced the little slow burn fuse. Unfortunately when I plugged it back in it blew the fuse out again. What happened to it, and is it a resonable repair. I do have soldering experience,so I think with some help we could get her up and playing again. "thanks for any help".

In audio, if you know which

In audio, if you know which fuse number, it will help find the problem. You probably have an output device out, (transistor, ic) but the fuse number would help to determine if it is the positive or negative rail voltage. or some control voltage

The same thing kinda happened

The same thing kinda happened to me I was playing my Sony-STR-D590 to my 12 inch sub and usually it would stand the volts and push the 12 inch sub but this time when I unplugged the sub and turned around to play it on the normal speakers the LCD screen is black but everything else lights up and there is no sound to it. Just wonder what to do. Replace the receiver or is there a way to fix it ?
