I have a RCA GMR899PR 26" console tv with a great picture, but no sound. I've checked for anything obvious, but can't find a fix. Does anybody know if there is a component that may have failed to cause this?
i dont know how old your set is.mine is an 89 check to see if you have a button in side the tv there might be one by the tunner marked snd disc thats what controls my sound .i found that out by accident.be careful.good luck
Others have had luck restoring sound on RCA TVs by giving the TV a hard reset. Unplug the set for 4 hours, and plug back in.
