My PS2 took a spill the other day and the network adaptor popped of the back of it. Well, I placed the PS2 back on the shelf plugged the adaptor back in and there was absolutly no sign of power...not even the red light. So than I disconnect the adaptor from the rear and the playstation works fine...but still a no go once I try to re-attach the network adaptor!....any ideas?

If you try another adaptor, and it works, then the existing adaptor was broken in the fall. Unfortunately, you won't know if it's the PS2 or the adaptor until you try a new adaptor, or plug your existing adaptor into a different PS2.
