I was just given a Magnovox 51mp392h/17 and moved it yesterday evening. After a couple hours, I noticed a small bit of moisture behind the front screen, between the plastic and the glass (this happened becasue the front of the screen got damp, and it seeped down to the bottom seem). It is slowly creeping up the inside surface. How do I remove this front screen (ridged screen cover) to get behind it and dry it off? ...or, will it eventually evaporate? Any help would be appreciated!
Well, being adventurous, I quickly realized that the screen has a 'pop-off' shield around it (yes, the one with the logo on it, it snaps off) so I carefully popped it off. The screen has pvc guides that keep it in place. These guides are held on with wood screws. They are 6 point screws, so you will need a crewdriver. I carefully unscrewed the sides first, slid them off, and then started on the corners. You want to do each corner, on it's own, at a time. Do this by unscrewing all but one of the screws, to keep everything together. Rotate to each corner by putting screws back in, and taking screws out. I then grabbed a lint free cloth, much like the ones you use to clean lenses (do not use a towel, cloth or paper, as you may scratch the screen) and use a can of compressed air to dry the screen, and then carefully buffed out any water marks by going with the 'grain' of the screen. I put it back together, and it looks great!

Good job on the screen cleaning, it probably would have dried eventually but might have left watermarks.
