My computor has a blank page when I go to the Device Manager page, its affecting the starting of AOL and other plu and play devices connected to the usb ports. If anyone has a solution to this it would be a great help. Thank-you

I have a sony vaio. When I put a cd into the drive, a media usually pops up and plays the cd. No media device now pops up. Then I went to burn pics onto a disk...and when I put a disk in and went to burn it...it says that the program doesn't recognize a cdr drive. Any help out there?
You may want to go to the Sony website and check for recent upgrades. There are a few upgrades for the BIOS and CD/DVD burners.
