My Samsung television model code # TXJ2567X/XAA is slow to produce a picture. When you turn the TV on it takes an hour to produce a picture. After that, everything is normal. If you turn the TV off then on it still takes an hour to produce a picture. I am an electrician and think I can do the repairs myself. Would anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem is? In addition, any safety issues especially with capacitors. Thanks for your time.

Accoriding to other sources, a long warm up time usually indicates a problem in the power supply. You may want to start there.
As a safety rule, leave your TV unplugged for at least 24 hours prior to working on it, and be very careful poking around on the inside of the TV. We wouldn't want anything bad to happen to one of our members.
