I've had a rear projection Samsung 52" LCD TV for two months. As of today, the signal is not going to the TV from the Direct TV receiver (it's not the satellite signal). I replaced the HDMI monster cable from the TV to the receiver, but continue to receive the "No Signal" error message. Best Buy says it's a Direct TV issue, and Direct TV says it's a TV issue. I've checked all the connections, and I'm on the correct input source for the TV. Everything is connected and powered on. Does anyone know what the problem is?
Yes , first with the No signal on the set and the receiver turned on and the TV turned on, unplug the direct TV receiver. Does the No Signal go away? Ok if it does not then the TV is not seeing the Direct tv receiver. Try switching the inputs fo the TV set. Maybe someone switched thenm by accident? If the NO signal changes when you unplug the receiver, then you might have a dish or wireing problem? get back to us and let us know how you made out. Good Luck
Hello! Did you ever get this problem resolved? I bought an HD TV a few months ago and have had it connected to my Direct TV HD receiver via HDMI cable, without a problem. I turn it on this morning and get a 'No Signal' message on the TV. I tried all the TV HDMI ports and switched coresponding input sources on the menu, none work. No signal on all. I connected some RCA component cables and everything worked, but who wants to use those right? I know the Satelite is getting signal, so it's frustrating. Did you ever figure out what the issue was with yours? Bad HDMI card in the TV, or bad cables? Let me know what ended up fixing it for you. Thanks!
