SONY KP 51WS500 - Volume & Menu won't stay on

I just recently moved 30 miles last Saturday. I had been using a Sony Commander remote and everything was fine. Two days ago Directv came and brought a new box. They gave us a new remote with it and I've been using it for the past two days until I set up my surround sound, DVD, etc.

The Directv remote has been working. Everything has been fine.

Today I got home from work and my wife said there is something wrong with the TV set. If you raise the volume with either remote, the volume will not stay where you set it. Instead it will drop until it is at the minimum setting. I tried going into the "menu", the menu will show, but as soon as you take your finger off the button, the menu disappears.

Did something possibly come lose in the move?

Any thoughts?

Picture comes in fine, you can change the input and it stays where you put it.

 Thanks for any help.

Okay, so I found the issue.

Okay, so I found the issue. As I said we had just moved. Before moving, my wife put all of the remotes that we had collected over the years in a clear plastic crate with the DVD player and some wires for the system. I remember her laughing about all the remotes we had as she put them in the box before we moved.

Just after I wrote this post I spied a crate near the TV. I asked her where the box was with all the remotes. We both stared at the box on the floor. The box was sitting about 3 feet away from the TV because we haven't unpacked everything yet. One of the remotes was for another Sony product and apparently the buttons were being pushed in by some of the krap in the box.

The clue to me was that the volume bar at the bottom of the screen, remained there. Just like if you held down the "-" button on the volume of a remote.

Well, there is the solution. Sorry I bothered everybody.
