i have a green convergence issue on my pt-51g46cv it is all wavey and missing spots here and there so i figured thats the problem
when i tore into the tele i found that i have 3 convergence ic chips and they are labeled B G and R so i assume it corrosponds to each color should i just replace the one green one or all three they are numbered STK 4274 i can find these for sale but are there some that are better then others. Is there anything else i should look at before i tear the board out of the television??
Check ic solder and the related resistors or fuses, and their continuity with the ic.
Check all boards for bad solder and coolant leaks are easier to do with the boards out.
