Recentley purchased a Magnavox 55P8288 at a tag sale set displays good picture but has an overall red hue----Possibly just knocked the convergence out in transport or what?????? Any help would be appreciated. Also do not have the original remote or an owners manual.
Double check the model number you posted. Is there a chassis number listed on the tv back panel.
Many, but not all Magnavox or Philips tv remotes will work. Look for some with menu, ,directional arrow, format, and source (or av) buttons at local thrift stores.
