37" Vizio LCD# VW37L- Turns on/No pic

I got a almost new 37" LCD Vizio off a co worker of mine, his nephew accidently hit it with a toy and the power will turn on, but no picture will show.

I talked him into selling it to me cheap since he wants a bigger one anyway. Hes had it only a few months so its practically new. Called a few TV Repair shops and they said sounds like a power supply issue but I'm a huge fan of technical forums like this so I thought I would ask the real experts.... What do you think? Thanks

Scratch that- just got off

Scratch that- just got off the phone with the guy, something internally is busted in the actual lcd display. He said its more expensive to fix that than to just buy a new tv. HELP!!!!

You said a child struck the

You said a child struck the TV with a toy. That's not a good thing for an LCD. It's quite possible the tubes inside the panel are broken as well as the panel itself. If you gave $1 for it that's $1 more than it's worth. Sorry.

I have a Vizio VW37L HDTV 20A

I have a Vizio VW37L HDTV 20A that just stopped working one day. The logo lights up but the TV won't turn on. It was not banged, bumped or dropped. It just stopped working one day. Does anyone know where I can find the repair / service manual for this TV and can anyone tell me what to look for to repair this?

Thanks.
