Set clicks on then shut down, High Volts comes up to approx 30K,then drops off. B+ looks like 120V then drops off to around 40, Hard to get an accurate reading. ESR the caps ok, How do I determine what is is shutting it down? I have ordered a flyback, but not sure yet, any suggestions? Havent found any bad parts.

That set is made by Funai Sylvania is no longer Part of Philips/Magnavox I would replace the Vertial output ic First Its a LA78041 and can get here> www.mcminone.com
While checking the voltages for the protect circuits, the set started working and I cant get it to act up again. I have moved and twisted the board, tapped with plastic tool, solid as a rock.
